Came back from the UK "shattered". Initially put it down to stress and jet
lag. January just evaporated; had very little energy.
Feb started much the same way and then felt really unwell.
Phoned Rowena who recognised the symptons and the kids came straight up and
took me to emergency.
Finished up staying overnight and being given i v antibiotics.
Feeling much better now but stll not fully energised.
The underlying cause is an enlarged prostate (c. 4 x normal) that restricts
flow and gives a greater chance of infections.
I've been to see a specialist and his initial diagnosis is simply enlarged.
I'll need an op to remove some of it but have to get some scans.
Will keep you posted.
