[Britannia-pendragon] 555 AD The Naval Battle of Exmouth and The Loaded Dog

With the player knights split into two groups, two amazing battles took
place.

The first was a naval battle where, following the capture of Breton ships
landing at Dorchester, three ships led an attack into Exeter. One, already
damaged, was led by Sir Eogan, renowned for his boating skills. However,
the Exeter forces of King Mark were forewarned by their watchtowers and
six ships were sent to confront the noble naval forces of Arthur and
Dorchester. The battle raged, and although outnumbered, the tactical
superiority of the allied forces led their eventual return to Dorchester
with five ships, two more ships than they had left with.

Outside Camelot, it was recognised the Infernal Machine was housed near
carts with the strange explosive symbols it was Lady Annest, the
pagan-witch, who through her sorcery, was able to transform into a dog,
carrying a pot-fire. From there she was able to break upon bags of sulfur,
charcoal, and saltpeter. Dropping the pot-fire into this line, Annest was
able to cause great explosion that wrecked the machine. At this moment, a
mighty charge from Camelot and the hidden forces smashed King Mark's
forces who were able to make a orderly retreat all the way back to
Cornwall.
